About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Designer focused on embellishment and applications. The work includes both hand and machine techniques, with a strong emphasis on handwork. Knowledge of weaving techniques is a plus. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed surface work and working closely with artisans.


Responsibilities

  • Develop simple embroidery, beading, appliqué, and surface layout designs
  • Prepare artwork and application files for hand and machine work
  • Coordinate with sample rooms and artisans for embroidery, beadwork, and weaving-based details
  • Support design team with swatches, placements, and basic CADs
  • Review application samples and ensure designs match specifications


Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of hand and machine embroidery techniques
  • Understanding of beading, appliqué, and surface embellishment
  • Weaving technique knowledge is a plus
  • Good attention to detail and color sense
  • Ability to work closely with designers & artisans
  • Requires minimum working experience of 1 year +
