Microsoft Power Platform Technical Delivery Lead

Role Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of growing Enzen’s Power Platform (PP) Centre of Excellence (CoE) in India and become a part of the global Competency and valued member of Enzen’s growing Digital Enterprise family. You will play a critical role in delivering our client’s Digital Transformation underpinned by the PP.

This role will report into Head of Enterprise Apps CoE and will be primarily responsible for

● Project Planning, Management, and Delivery of Power Platform Projects on time, on budget, and with utmost quality.

● Allocation, management, and mentoring of PP resources to ensure the right resources are allocated to the right roles and they are motivated at all the time.

● Provide technical leadership, best practices, and guidance in delivering the PP projects from gathering requirements to delivering managed services

● Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders on the project reports, status, and issue resolution

● Set up governance to ensure compliance with customer requirements

● Staying up to date on the latest PP features, updates, and industry trends.

● Proactively work with the Account team and CoE to identify PP opportunities and develop high quality technical proposals including estimates

Key Responsibilities :

● Project Planning and Management: Lead the planning and management of Power Platform projects, including scoping, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk assessment. Develop project plans, set clear objectives, and monitor progress to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

● Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, including developers, consultants, and other stakeholders involved in Power Platform implementations. Offer expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and related technologies to drive efficient and effective solution development.

● Solution Architecture: Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to define the solution architecture for Power Platform projects. Design scalable, robust, and high-performing solutions that align with business requirements and adhere to best practices.

● Requirement Analysis: Work closely with clients and stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, translating them into technical specifications and design documents. Ensure that the Power Platform solutions meet the business needs and objectives of the organisation.

● Technical Design and Development: Lead and oversee the technical design and development of Power Platform solutions. Provide guidance on data modelling, user interface design, workflow automation, data integration, and custom development to deliver high-quality solutions.

● Quality Assurance and Testing: Establish and implement quality assurance processes and standards for Power Platform projects. Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the stability, functionality, and reliability of the solutions.

● Technical Issue Resolution: Take ownership of technical issues and provide resolution or guidance to the project team. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges related to the Power Platform, ensuring smooth implementation and addressing any roadblocks.

● Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders, including clients, project managers, business analysts, and executive leadership. Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, risks, and dependencies, ensuring clear and transparent communication channels.

● Team Collaboration and Mentoring: Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Support and mentor team members, providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and professional development opportunities to enhance their technical capabilities.

● Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements, features, and best practices related to the Power Platform. Continuously evaluate and enhance project delivery methodologies, tools, and processes to optimise efficiency and improve outcomes. ● Technical Proposals: Work with the Account team to identify opportunities, develop high quality proposals, and secure sign off from the concerned stakeholders.

● DevOps: Promotes DevOps practises to automate and streamline the Power Platform solution development and deployment process.

● Managed Services Support: Skills and knowledge to effectively troubleshoot, optimise performance, train end users, manage changes, ensure security and compliance, and drive continuous improvement for Power Platform solutions.

Desired Experience:

● Power Platform and related Technologies Expertise (8-10 years): Extensive hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and related technologies. Proficiency in designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the Power Platform is essential.

● Project Management: Proven experience in managing end-to-end projects involving the Power Platform, from requirements gathering to successful delivery. Strong project management skills, including scoping, resource management, risk assessment, and timeline management, are required to ensure project success.

● Solution Architecture: Demonstrated expertise in defining solution architectures for Power Platform projects. Experience in designing scalable, robust, and high-performing solutions that align with business objectives and adhere to best practices.

● Technical Leadership: Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to a project team, including developers, consultants, and other stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges while driving effective execution are crucial.

● Business Analysis: Proficiency in gathering and analysing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and designing solutions that meet client needs. Understanding of business processes and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives is important.

● Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to effectively engage and manage stakeholders at various levels, including clients, project managers, business analysts, and executive leadership. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential to ensure clear and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.

● Team Collaboration and Mentoring: Experience in fostering a collaborative and productive team environment. The ability to mentor and guide team members, provide technical guidance, and support their professional development is important for driving successful project outcomes.

● Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with different industries and their specific business processes is valuable. Understanding industry-specific requirements and challenges enables the Technical Delivery Lead to design and deliver solutions that address specific business needs effectively.

● Continuous Learning: A mindset of continuous learning to stay updated with the latest advancements, features, and best practices related to the Power Platform. Keeping abreast of industry trends and exploring new technologies and tools within the Microsoft ecosystem is beneficial

● Licensing: Expertise in understanding and managing licensing requirements, costs, and compliance within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. Ability to provide guidance on licensing options, manage licence allocations, and ensure licensing compliance for Power Platform projects.

● Safe Agile Delivery Methodology: Strong experience leading and managing Power Platform projects using Safe Agile methodologies. Knowledge and practical application of Safe Agile principles, ceremonies, and artefacts to ensure efficient and successful project delivery.

● Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams. Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and provide regular project updates and status reports.

● Documentation: Proficient in creating comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, technical specifications, solution architectures, risk assessments, and project governance documentation. Ability to drive documentation standards and ensure the availability of accurate and up-to-date project deliverables.

● DevOps: Prior experience of DevOps practices in automating and streamlining the build, development, testing, and monitoring of Power Platform solutions

Desired Education

● Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

● Project Management Certifications (such as Project Management Professional (PMP))

● ITIL Certifications

● Microsoft certifications in Power Platform (e.g., Power Platform App Maker, Power Platform Functional Consultant, Power Platform Developer)
