We work with leaders across major provider networks and are building a high-velocity product team to support upcoming deployments.We are hiring Machine Learning Interns who want real-world startup experience, meaningful ownership, and exposure to applied ML inside a fast-moving AI company. This role is ideal for students who understand core ML concepts and want to contribute to real models, data pipelines, and evaluations that support production use cases.ResponsibilitiesAs a Machine Learning Intern, you will:Assist in building and maintaining ML pipelines for classification, prediction, and information extractionWork with Python-based ML stacks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Hugging Face)Clean, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured healthcare datasetsContribute to prompt engineering and evaluation workflows for LLM-based systemsCollaborate with engineering to integrate models into product workflowsDocument experiments, metrics, and learningsTake end-to-end ownership of small ML research or data tasksQualificationsRequired:Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field (any year)Strong understanding of ML fundamentals: supervised learning, model evaluation, bias/variance, etc.Experience with Python and common ML libraries (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn)Ability to run experiments and analyze resultsComfort working with Git and following basic workflowsCuriosity, initiative, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environmentNice to have:Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face TransformersFamiliarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, or embeddingsKnowledge of data preprocessing for text or time-series dataUnderstanding of evaluation frameworks, A/B testing, or metrics designSide projects, research papers, or Kaggle work demonstrating hands-on ML experienceExposure to healthcare data (not required)What You'll Gain (Benefits)Although this is an unpaid internship, we provide meaningful benefits to support your learning and career growth:Hands-on applied ML experience — work on real models used in healthcare workflows1:1 mentorship from engineers and ML practitioners with backgrounds at Google, Meta, and top AI startupsLetter of recommendation based on performanceCursor Pro+ license for the duration of the internshipFireside sessions with industry leaders in AI, ML, and healthcareExperience deploying ML models and evaluations in an early-stage startupOpportunity for a future part-time or full-time role based on performance
