Role : Azure DevOps Engineer

Role Overview :

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation processes for our software development projects. You will collaborate closely with development teams to streamline the build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring high-quality and efficient delivery of software products on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure DevOps tools and services, along with a solid understanding of software development practices and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps services to automate build, test, and deployment processes for software applications.
• Configure and manage Azure resources and services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or terraform.
• Collaborate with development teams to define CI/CD best practices, standards, and workflows, ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects.
• Implement and manage version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies to enable collaboration and code management within development teams.
• Monitor and optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance automation and efficiency.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are adhered to in CI/CD pipelines and Azure infrastructure configurations, implementing security controls and policies as necessary.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on Azure DevOps tools, practices, and processes, facilitating adoption and proficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure deployments, and application deployments in collaboration with development and operations teams.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to DevOps, cloud computing, and continuous delivery, applying knowledge to improve processes and solutions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups, contributing insights and feedback to drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Azure DevOps and cloud technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps services, including Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Boards, Azure Artifacts, and Azure Test Plans.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and services, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Azure certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Associate (preferred).
• Should have knowledge about firebase and hosting flutter WebApp on firebase.
• Knowledge about Google cloud components
