About the Company :

This opportunity is with Handelnine Global, an e-commerce company that owns and operates 15+ online retail brands in over 60 countries. The company has offices in India as well as the USA and serves global markets including the UK, USA, Europe, Australia, Middle East and Southeast Asia.

We're rapidly growing our core business, expanding internal tools and launching new products, and are opening this position to support our growth.

The role is 100% remote. We offer competitive compensation and 28 leave days annually.

Role and Responsibilities :

The ideal person for this role will have the requisite experience, skills and passion necessary for the continued development of our entire tech architecture, that comprises :

- Over 100 high-traffic eCommerce websites serving customers around the world

- ERP software that manages our global operations

- Business analytics that determines product and catalogue selection, customer growth and retention

- Modules across all functions - including marketing, logistics, customer support, finance etc.

- Modules that support workflow, dashboards and reporting processes for all our divisions

Desired Candidate Profile :

- 5+ years of technical development experience, including in a Team Lead or Senior Developer role - with progressively increasing levels of scope and responsibility

- Extensive past experience and knowledge of back-end languages - in particular, Ruby on Rails

- Prior experience with Spree is helpful but not a prerequisite

- Extensive past experience and knowledge of front-end languages - in particular, Javascript & Javascript based frameworks and libraries

- Ability to contribute towards the architectural design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise eCommerce applications

- Experience with cloud-based and dedicated architectures

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills - and a team leader's mindset

- Willingness to contribute as both a team lead and an individual contributor
