AjnaLens is looking for an Android Developer to join our Engineering team in Thane.


We’re building next-generation immersive and conscious technologies that blend the digital and physical worlds. As an Android Developer, you’ll contribute to developing and optimizing Android applications that connect with our custom hardware and sensors. You’ll get hands-on experience with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), hardware integrations, and real-time system interactions—areas that sit at the intersection of software and hardware innovation.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, ensuring clean, efficient, and scalable code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Firmware, and Product) to integrate hardware communication and BLE features.
  • Debug, test, and optimize app performance for speed, stability, and battery efficiency.


Skills You’ll Need:


  • Strong foundation in Kotlin and Android development fundamentals (activities, fragments, view models, lifecycle management).
  • Basic understanding of BLE communication and hardware integration (a plus if you’ve explored IoT or sensor-based projects).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and local data storage (Room, SharedPreferences, or Realm).
  • Good grasp of UI/UX principles, Material Design, and responsive layouts.
  • Eagerness to learn, experiment, and solve real-world problems in a fast-paced environment.


Bonus Points If You Have:


  • Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, or Flow.
  • Exposure to ARCore, audio features, or sensor-based mobile applications.
  • Internship or project experience working on Android apps integrated with hardware or wearables.
  • Contributions to open-source Android projects or a personal portfolio on GitHub/Play Store.
