CMK is seeking a FlashArray expert to support our leading storage partner and their end client. This role will act as the operational backbone for an enterprise FlashArray environment, driving best practice adoption, stabilizing daily operations, and serving as a trusted resource for the India team. We need someone proactive, confident, and capable of teaching, guiding, and influencing without hesitation. This person will make an immediate impact by establishing a clean operational baseline and removing routine asks from senior engineers.


Environment Snapshot

  • 97 installed FlashArrays, 10 pending deployment
  • 3 FlashBlades used as backup repositories
  • ESXi environment today, with AIX workloads moving to FlashArray in early Q1
  • Technology stack includes VMware, AIX, and networking fundamentals
  • Collaboration with a Technical Account Manager from the storage partner
  • Operations team based in India, configurations team based in the US


What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the FlashArray operational SME, providing hands on guidance, mentoring, and leadership for the India operations team
  • Teach best practices around Active Active vs Active Passive, capacity management, and overall FlashArray functionality
  • Perform health checks, monitor performance, and proactively identify optimization opportunities
  • Act as an internal product champion to ensure consistent application of operational standards
  • Support upcoming AIX workload migrations with structured guidance and confidence building
  • Take routine operational tasks off the SAM and SE teams to streamline workflows and create efficiency
  • Partner with the storage partner’s Technical Account Manager and US configuration team for aligned operations
  • Provide consultative insights, influence decisions, and help guide operational improvements
  • Build trust with team members who may have initial concerns due to past role overlap sensitivities

  • Strong hands on FlashArray expertise with the ability to teach and simplify technical concepts
  • Experience operating large scale FlashArray environments including capacity planning and performance review
  • Proactive, confident communication style with strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to influence without authority and support teams through operational change
  • Comfort collaborating with global teams across India and the US
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility quickly
