Electrical Design Engineer-Eplan

The Electrical Project Engineer's responsibilities include reviewing all engineering design plans, performing complex calculations, designing and constructing electrical systems and their components, liaising with other engineers, and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. He should be able to stick to the allocated budget and build reliable, quality electrical systems. Able to develop rapport with others and recognize their concerns and feelings; build and maintain long-term associations based on trust; help others.Team Centered: Able to share due credit with coworkers; display enthusiasm and promote a friendly group working environment; work closely with other departments as necessary; support group decisions and solicit opinions from coworkers; display team spirit.Communication: Able to clearly present information through the spoken or written word; read and interpret complex information; talk with customers; listen well.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES· To execute projects in OTIF Electrical drawings& execution on site with IEC & Safety Standard.· Visit sites if required and do complete analysis of project layout & design approval from customer.· Field component Mounting scheme finalize with help of Mechanical design team.· Field cable tray routing for cables neatly to meet wiring standards.· Analyzing technical drawings, interpreting specifications, and determining the electrical requirements of a given project.· Liaising with other engineers and clients to ensure overall customer satisfaction.· Managing and monitoring all assigned electrical projects installation on site.· Hardware selection as per engineering calculations.· BOM, and IO list Report generation as per application.· Good Knowledge of Profinet, Ethernet, IO link, Process Industry, SLD, Multi-line drawing, Sensors, Safety products.· Responsible for Electrical Panel Design using E plan, Auto CAD & Installation planning & Communication with clients.· Support Product standardization, developing libraries and tooling in Eplan.· Knowledge of Automation components selection, Creating plot frame & Forms, Report generation, preparation of GA drawing, electrical calculations, Cable scheduling, Field Instrumentation.· Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to aid and technical support.QUALIFICATIONS· ITI /Diploma with 5 years/ 3-4 years Experience in Design/projects/NPD / SPM projects.· Technical school attendance a plus.· Ability to understand and work from schematics.· Knowledge of electrical theory and terminology required.· Ability to communicate effectively, (written and verbally) with peers, management.· Must be willing to work some overtime if the business need arises.
