As part of our digital transformation efforts, we are seeking an experienced Lead DMS Project Manager to spearhead the development and implementation of Dealer Management System (DMS) projects, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FinOps).

Job Purpose : The Lead DMS Project Manager will lead the design, development, and implementation of DMS projects using Microsoft Dynamics 365 FinOps. This role will involve collaborating with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the successful delivery of high-performance DMS solutions. The candidate will oversee the full product development cycle, from prototyping and testing to performance management, ensuring that features and functionalities align with business needs and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Planning and Execution :

- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of DMS projects using a Rapid Prototype/Pilot/Proof of Concept (POC) approach.

- Deliver Proof of Concepts (PoC) and reference implementations to validate technical solutions before full-scale deployments.

- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery, meeting scope, performance, and cost benchmarks.

Technical Decision-Making & Product Features :

- Make key decisions on product features and functionality, based on system performance parameters, product capabilities, and alignment with the overall product roadmap.

- Collaborate with business and functional teams to translate product requirements into system capabilities that need to be built or enhanced.

- Evaluate multiple solutions and designs for product development in line with the overall IT ecosystem and future digital transformation goals.

Product Knowledge & System Performance :

- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FinOps) and adhere to technical design principles to ensure optimal system performance.

- Work with development and testing teams to ensure product performance meets optimal parameters, and ensure alignment with design and scalability requirements.

- Continuously monitor system health and performance, identifying action points and implementing permanent resolutions for performance bottlenecks.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and to deliver the best possible solutions.

- Interact with third-party vendors and market players for benchmarking and evaluating potential solutions.

- Engage with cross-functional teams to drive performance improvements and ensure successful product rollouts.

Technical Leadership & Innovation :

- Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, and PoC initiatives to ensure the highest standards of product quality.

- Analyze and evaluate various technology solutions to provide workable and innovative solutions that align with business goals.

- Stay updated with emerging trends in Microsoft Dynamics FinOps and related platforms, experimenting with the latest technologies to enhance product capabilities.

Application Performance & System Health :

- Be responsible for reviewing and improving system health and performance metrics.

- Lead initiatives to identify root causes of performance issues and ensure permanent resolution paths.

- Collaborate with development teams to assess feasibility, technical validation, and performance improvements.

Agile Development & Collaboration :

- Contribute to the requirement analysis and testing phases of projects with both internal and partner teams.

- Work in an Agile methodology environment to drive collaboration and deliver results quickly and efficiently.

- Lead Agile teams in delivering product capabilities in line with performance goals and timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Educational Background :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Professional Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in DMS or ERP system development and management, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FinOps).

- Proven experience with Rapid Prototyping, Pilot, or Proof of Concept (PoC) approaches in product development.

- Experience working with cloud platforms and scalable architecture.

Technical Proficiency :

- Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and its related technology stack.

- Familiarity with system performance parameters, root cause analysis, and application health reviews.

- Experience in leading technical design reviews and code reviews, focusing on system scalability and performance.

Soft Skills & Behavioral Competencies :

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partners.

- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work across multiple teams.

- Analytical mindset with a focus on delivering practical, efficient solutions.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in an Agile methodology environment.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business solutions.
