Retail Leasing lead

About the Leasing Team & Role:

The Leasing Team is at the forefront of building the Rental Business at Lodha. It has end to end accountability and ownership of business & client development, client funnel management, commercial negotiations and deal closures for Lodha’s rental portfolio. The team works closely with CEO to take the rental assets to market (GTM). The team also works with cross functional teams such as design, operations strategy, legal and finance to structure innovative solutions for customers. Clientele may include large marquee clients/global brands across Offices, Retail and Lifesciences and national/regional brands.

Vision for the Leasing Business and Projects:

Lodha is fully committed to its vision of creating billion dollar rental businesses across Commercial, Retail, Lifesciences and other growing avenues such as Data Centers and Industrial parks. Some of our flagship projects include

 The success started with a series of high-street projects and the Xperia Mall (5 lac sq. ft. leasable) in 2016. Since then the mall has seen tremendous success with 95% operating area and a host of high quality partners – PVR, Hamleys, H&M, Central, Starbucks, Miniso and more

 Already have significant retail developments in the Island City where we have the land, approvals and work has just been initiated – expected value of 4,000 cr

o Park Luxury Mall, Lower Parel – With 2.5 lac sq. ft. (carpet) area that will be a very unique offering that redefines luxury and retail experience in the Island City

o Palava Mall, Palava – Spread over 20 acres, this will be the largest mall in India and positioned as a truly destination mall with entertainment, food and shopping options never seen before in any such development

o F&B Hub in Lodha Business Park, Thane – 80,000 sq. ft. F&B focused hub (along the lines of Cyber City) located adjacent to the Lodha Business Park.

o Additional retail hubs (primarily F&B) along with key office projects across New Cuffe Parade (50,000 sq. ft.) and One Lodha Place (30,000 sq. ft.) to create a distinguished Office and Retail environment

 The aspiration is to grow the retail business beyond the Island City of Mumbai on the back of our success and become amongst the Top 3 Retail players across the country

• Prior Experience in Leasing - We value coveted experience in leasing across large developers, IPCs, Real Estate Funds, Business Expansion teams. Experience spanning new business sourcing, cross functional collaboration, deal closures, commercial/retail sales etc. is a big plus

• Willing to learn & travel – We expect candidates to have a strong desire to learn from all corners including site visits, client interactions, internal discussions etc. Naturally, the role will involve travelling to site locations for client meetings and site visits across MMR
