Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled QA - Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, experience with automated testing frameworks, and a passion for ensuring high-quality software delivery. This role involves designing and implementing automated tests, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve our products.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

Automated Test Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and desktop applications.

- Implement automated test cases using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

Test Planning and Execution :

- Collaborate with QA analysts and developers to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.

Bug Identification and Reporting :

- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

- Work with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.

Continuous Integration and Delivery :

- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Work with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment processes.

Quality Assurance Best Practices :

- Promote QA best practices and standards within the team.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and reliability of code.

Performance and Load Testing :

- Develop and execute performance and load tests to ensure the scalability and stability of applications.

- Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for improvements.

Documentation and Reporting :

- Maintain clear and concise test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.

- Prepare and present test reports to stakeholders.

Team Collaboration :

- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality software releases.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers as needed.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.

- Strong proficiency in automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).

- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
