We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing team.

In this critical role, you will play a leadership role in designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable, reliable, and performant infrastructure to support our business applications and services.

You will bridge the gap between development and operations, fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and participate in the design, development, and implementation of automated solutions to manage and optimize our infrastructure.

- Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) to provision and manage infrastructure in a consistent and repeatable manner.

- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to ensure efficient resource utilization and application scalability.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate SRE practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for faster deployments and improved reliability.

- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, proactively identify potential problems, and implement preventative measures.

- Develop and implement monitoring tools and dashboards to gain insights into system health and performance.

- Develop and maintain incident response procedures for handling outages and service disruptions.

- Participate in capacity planning and resource optimization activities.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, containerization, and distributed systems.

- Mentor and guide junior SREs, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.

- Advocate for SRE best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the SRE function within the organization.

Qualifications :

Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's

- 8-12 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field.

- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated services.

- Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable and reliable infrastructure.

- Expertise in infrastructure automation tools (IaC) and configuration management tools.

- Experience with container orchestration platforms (e.g. Kubernetes).

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

- Strong understanding of Linux systems administration and scripting languages (e.g Python, Bash).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g. Istio, Linkerd)

- Experience with chaos engineering principles

- Experience with performance optimization techniques

- Experience in cloud security best practices

- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect)
