We are looking for Market Research & Business strategy guy with strong experience preferably from steel commodities.

Role: Section Head - Market Research & Business Strategy Analyst

Experience: 10+ years

Location : Mumbai and Surat

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, or related field. Knowledge of Steel Commodities (BRM will be added )
  • 8+ years of proven experience in market research and business strategy analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
  • Experience in building detailed case studies and market reports.
  • Proficient in using research tools, databases, and analytical software.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed databases on supply and demand fundamentals for commodities under review.
  • Conduct thorough market surveys and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Utilize various research methodologies to gather and analyse data, providing actionable insights for strategic decisionmaking.
  • Prepare comprehensive market reports encompassing commodity analysis
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management to facilitate informed decisionmaking.
  • Work closely with internal teams to gather relevant data, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their information needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Liaison with the internal learning teams to identify gaps with respect to industry and digitalise way forwards.
  • Propose and implement improvements to research methodologies and reporting processes.
