Senior Business Development Executive

- Business Development (B2B)We are looking for a seasoned sales & business development manager with exceptional skills.
Negotiate and secure B2B Rates/Promotions/Discounts for internal and external consumption.
Progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiationPresenting effectively:
you can clearly express ideas and information to others and flex your style according to the specific situation and audienceLeading your market: You excel at evaluating local market characteristics, trends and drivers, and you effectively prioritize and lead the performance of a portfolio of accounts to business value.
Contracting with hotels and onboarding with live inventory.Market research and comparison with competitors.
Manage P&L of contracted hotels and find ways to upsell.
Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externallyMaintaining all contract-related correspondence and documentationGeographical understanding of the assigned market & flair for travel is also a prerequisite for the job profilePlan the overall course of action for each accountProactively identify opportunities to partner with hotels to grow our businessLead discussions with hotels to identify opportunitiesManage, establish and maintain deep and long-term relationshipsCoordinate training of partner hotels on our extranet and the online businessReview monthly production reports and provide feedback to top-producing hotels on plan and execute market visitsNegotiate and secure market deals and merchandise all deals on our sites.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on individual accounts and the market's progress toward weekly, monthly and annual targets cull out insights for future course of actionEnsure rate and inventory competitivenessFollow up on all expiring contracts.
Participate in weekly market review meetingsBookings- Manage offline hotel bookings, amendments and cancellationPayments – Ensure & Manage timely payments to hotels, suppliers and payments from clientsCo – ordination
- Good coordination abilities are needed with internal employees and hotel suppliers.
Trackers
- Update trackers for bookings, payments and finance requirementsInvoice
- Collection of invoices from hotels/suppliers and add upload them in shared drives.
Proficient in English, Hindi & In the local language for the region of hire.
Affinity/experience within B2B Travel/E-travel and/or hotel/travel industry;Proactive, sense of responsibility, Team Player and can work independently;Open to travelling frequently.
Keeps a problem-solving approach.
Accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
Confident and has a good ability to interact with Hotels and internal Teams.
Should know Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Being familiar with Google Sheets will be beneficial.
