You will also mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the overall data strategy of the organization.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Power BI solutions.
Design and develop Power BI data models, reports, and dashboards that provide actionable insights into key business metrics.
Optimize Power BI performance by tuning data models, queries, and reports for maximum efficiency.
Implement data governance best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security within Power BI solutions.

Work closely with data engineers and data architects to integrate Power BI with data sources such as SQL databases, data warehouses, and APIs.

Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and review their work to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.

Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, tools, and techniques, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our analytics capabilities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a data-driven culture and evangelize the use of Power BI across the organization.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Power BI solutions in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation, training materials, and standards for Power BI development and usage.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and developing Power BI solutions.

Expertise in data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query/M queries for transforming and manipulating data within Power BI.Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and experience creating visually appealing and intuitive reports and dashboards.

Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL processes and tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify actionable insights.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Analysis Services is a plus.
Microsoft Power BI certification(s) preferred.
