Role Summary & Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test automation lead to join our team. You would be responsible for designing, developing and implementing automated solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software. You would be working very closely with cross functional teams to identify testing requirements, develop test strategies and streamline the testing process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Lead the design, development and implementation of automated testing frameworks and solutions Collaborate with software development teams to understand the testing requirements and design test cases Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry standard tools and technologies Execute automated test suites and analyse test results to identify defects and performance issues Work closely with QA analyst to prioritize testing efforts and ensure comprehensive coverage Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the testing team Continuously evaluate and improve automated testing processes and methodologies Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate testing processes , issues and recommendations Coordinate with other managers (Project Manager, Development Manager, etc.) to ensure the highest level of software quality.

Core/Must have skills

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field is preferred Must have 10+ yrs. of experience in Quality Assurance. Project development and leadership skills are essential in planning and overseeing project tests Current understanding of best practices regarding various Testing domains Advanced understanding and experience with software engineering, customer experience and design architecture Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan Advanced knowledge of testing methodologies and when certain strategies are recommended Extensive knowledge and experience working with various operating systems and programming languages like Java, python or C# Professional work experience in analyzing and testing computer hardware and software Self-motivated, self-driven, own and consider him/herself accountable for timely completion of QA deliverables Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with good interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to details. Experience in Financial domain and knowledge of, financial securities, and trading principles is highly desirable. Excellent working knowledge of Test automation tools specifically Tosca, Selenium, UFT, etc. Solid knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo or GitLab CI.
