About the Position :


We are looking for an experienced IBM MQ Administrator to be part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation and enhancement of our messaging infrastructure.

The perfect candidate should have extensive experience in IBM MQ administration, a solid grasp of messaging technologies, and a proactive problem-solving approach. This role offers the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to critical systems.



Responsibilities :

  • Oversee, manage, and optimize IBM MQ infrastructure in diverse environments.
  • Deploy, set up, and update IBM MQ software and associated elements.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability of messaging systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create, deploy, and manage messaging solutions.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for IBM MQ configurations, security, and performance enhancement.
  • Conduct regular maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery drills for messaging systems.
  • Develop and manage documentation, encompassing operational guidelines and system setups.
  • Offer assistance, mentorship, and training to junior colleagues when necessary.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and best approaches in messaging administration.

Requirements :

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on IBM MQ administration experience.
  • Proficient in deploying, configuring, and managing IBM MQ in corporate settings.
  • Sound understanding of messaging principles, protocols, and technologies.
  • Expertise in monitoring, fine-tuning, and resolving IBM MQ performance issues.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for streamlining tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills, task prioritization capabilities, and multitasking efficiency.
  • Certifications in IBM MQ or related domains are advantageous.
