Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, architect and lead the implementation of Cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure Services.
  • Assess and recommend public and hybrid Cloud solutions, including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (Iaa S), Software-as-a-Service (Saa S), and Platform-as-a-Service (Paa S).
  • Collaborate closely with global teams to develop proposals, presentations, statement of work (SOW) and proactively recommend strategies around Microsoft technologies specifically Microsoft Azure stack and Azure Stack HCI
  • Advice customers on various Cloud solution options, discuss benefits and risks of each, and recommend a solution that aligns with the customer's business needs and requirements.
  • Should be able to execute short term strategic consulting projects on Microsoft Azure, assessments, POC/pilots, map solutions to client business processes, and develop value proposition and business case.
  • Provide thought leadership and IT transformation recommendations for large collaboration programs around Microsoft Azure.

Essential Skill Requirements:

  • 12+ years overall IT experience and 3+ years of relevant Microsoft Azure architecture, design & delivery experience
  • Consulting experience with large-scale implementations on Microsoft Azure stack and Azure Stack HCI
  • Experience in Azure Infra, Networks, Storage, Apps and Azure Dev Ops
  • Experience in Creating solutions, presenting, and articulating winning prepositions for Microsoft Azure stack and Azure Stack HCI
  • Well versed with cloud architecture styles and design patterns
  • Experience in developing cloud migration approaches, defining migration roadmaps, and providing estimates.
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager, Resource Groups, Virtual Networks, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, Power Shell DSC, Azure Automation, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Site Recovery
  • Experience in developing and deploying Cloud Native Applications using Azure Paa S Capabilities (App Services Plans, Key Vault, SQL Azure DB, Azure Functions, Containers, AKS, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management)
  • Should have implemented at-least one project with Authentication and Authorization of the applications using AD OR OAuth.
  • Experience with claims-based authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, and RBAC
  • Understands setting up Monitoring and diagnostics on Azure for a web application.
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as C#, Java, Python, Java Script, Power Shell, & Bash etc.,
  • Experience with Azure Governance and Best Practices (Role Based Access Control, Networking
Architectures, Cost Management controls, etc.)

  • Able to support pre-sales engagements by identifying and communicating potential solutions that meet our customer's need within their constraints.
  • Knowledge on VMC on AVS (Azure VMware Solution)
  • Hands on experience with cloud assessment and Migrations (ASR)
  • Good to have Microsoft Azure Architecture Certification

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraforms,
etc.

  • Experience in SCM, Jenkins, Monitoring Tools etc.,
  • Experience with relational, graph and/or unstructured data technologies such as SQL Server, Azure SQL,
Azure Data Lake, HD Insights, Hadoop, Cloudera, Mongo DB, My SQL, Neo4j, Cassandra, Couchbase

  • Software development full life-cycle methodologies, patterns, frameworks, libraries, and tools
  • Experience with machine learning tools such as Azure ML, AWS, Google, etc.
  • Experience coordinating the intersection of complex system dependencies and interactions.
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI, D3
  • Experience in solution delivery using Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant industry trends and standards
  • Experience in distilling complex technical challenges to actionable decisions for stakeholders and guiding
project teams by building consensus and mediating compromises when necessary.
