  • 10+ years as a functional consultant in SAP PLM/ PPM
  • At least 2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP PLM/ PPM, with one as an Architect
  • Certifications viewed favorably
  • Project experience in SAP PLM 7.01 configuration, customization, testing documentation in modules ECM, OCM, DMS, BOM, MM, PPM
  • Experience in PPM integration with PLM, SAP PS, HCM, FI/CO
  • Experience in supporting SAP PLM Roll-Outs in a corporate setting
  • Advising and assisting business units in related processes, focusing on systematic improvement by suggesting best practices

Description:

  • The Senior Functional Consultant functions as a leader and subject matter expert in SAP ERP PLM/ PPM business processes. This role involves playing a significant part in design, implementation, and ongoing enhancements for the SAP PLM/ PPM Module. It includes collaborating closely with the business to define processes and enhancements needed for the business systems. The Consultant is responsible for possessing a deep understanding of SAP PLM/ PPM and for direct configuration activities. This involves gathering requirements, designing, configuring, testing, and implementing changes
  • Offer subject matter expertise on SAP's best practices for implementing SAP PLM/ PPM business processes. Conduct workshops on gathering business requirements, advocate for standard SAP processes, identify and address gaps while minimizing development effort
  • Lead the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP PLM/ PPM business processes
  • Define and execute unit tests, integration tests, and regression test scripts to validate key end-to-end business scenarios. Troubleshoot complex functional issues identified during implementation, testing, and post-Go Live
  • Support the existing SAP PLM/ PPM implementation. Resolve incidents following pre-defined processes and ensure change requests adhere to the established Request for Change procedures rather than being handled as incidents
  • Document all aspects of the SAP PLM/ PPM implementation, including business blueprint design, application configuration, functional specifications, test plans, business process procedures
  • Maintain consistent, timely, and effective communications with internal and external stakeholders. Monitor customer satisfaction levels. Provide input and support to other ERP-related IT projects if necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams with minimal supervision
  • Coach, mentor, and train other SAP PLM/ PPM functional consultants. Support their professional development and learning
