Job Description:
As Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using the MEARN (MongoDB, Express, Angular, React, ) stack. The ideal candidate is a seasoned
problem solver with a deep understanding of both Angular and React frameworks, along with a strong foundation in backend technologies.
Lead the complete lifecycle of web application development using the MEARN stack, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers to transform design concepts into fully functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
Architect and implement high-quality code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
Utilize Angular and/or React to create responsive, dynamic, and user-centric front-end experiences.
Develop RESTful APIs using and Express to ensure seamless communication between the frontend and backend components.
Integrate and manage databases, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB), to store, retrieve, and manipulate data efficiently.
Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.
Implement thorough testing practices, including unit and integration testing, to maintain code quality and reliability.
Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other potential issues.
Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the MEARN stack ecosystem and apply this knowledge to enhance development processes.
Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistency.
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering their growth and technical development within the team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
5-8 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, specializing in the MEARN stack.
Proficiency in Angular and/or React for building interactive and dynamic user interfaces.
Strong command over and Express for backend development.
Solid experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
Demonstrated expertise in deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Proficiency in HTML and CSS for creating visually appealing and responsive user interfaces.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership qualities and the desire to mentor and guide less experienced team members.
A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry advancements.
