Your New Role:

As part of a dynamic team, this role focuses on developing the data technology stack essential for providing end-user insights that drive the development of cutting-edge digital products and strategies. You'll play a key role in setting up an internal data pipeline and enhancing data technologies to shape our digital data strategy.

Your Role Accountabilities:
  • Gain a deep understanding of brand and enterprise data warehouse/reporting needs to guide the data architecture and modeling approach. Apply this knowledge to create effective ETL processes, database queries, and data models to support data aggregation and actionable insights.
  • Write efficient, well-organized, and scalable code that meets business requirements.
  • Show enthusiasm for continuous learning and improvement in daily engineering tasks.
  • Deliver high-quality JIRA User stories from start to end, meeting team expectations.
  • Familiarity with BI Tools and ability to create semantic layer models for business users.
  • Acquire knowledge of various datasets to conduct ad-hoc analysis for different business units.
  • Participate in QA testing for data pipeline projects and the implementation of changes to analytical tools.
Qualifications & Experiences:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or information technology.
  • Over 5 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, AWS (Amazon Web Services) Glue, and databases (Snowflake, Postgres, Dynamo DB).
  • Experience with AWS cloud services like Kinesis, Lambda, IAM Policies.
  • Skilled in software delivery through continuous integration (e.g., git, bitbucket, Jenkins).
  • Familiarity with automation and scheduling tools (e.g., Redwood, Airflow).
  • Ability to utilize creative analytics techniques to drive business decisions.
  • Advocate for the benefits of analytical data assets and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong business acumen, critical problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking capacity.
Not Required but preferred experience:
  • Public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of API connectivity and data streaming architecture.
