At PayPal, Product Designers influence teams to make customer-centric decisions across the product development lifecycle. This includes drawing on data and research to inform design concepts and decision making. We start with asking the right questions and end with optimized, best-in-class deliverables.

As a Product Designer you will be the voice of the customer.

With specific guidance and support, you will help project execution and learn how to navigate working in cross-functional international teams.

You will establish a network across domains and your cross-functional team.

You will report Senior Product Design Manager and be a member of our diverse Global Design Organization where we use our design and research skills to inspire and influence across the company.

Job Description:

Job responsibilities:

  • Work with crossfunctional team members in the execution and delivery of PayPal's products and services, using a customerfocused, iterative design process
  • Create highquality deliverables on a work stream with some oversight and guidance from a senior designer, within timelines and project requirements
  • Leverages and fosters the use of established UX techniques, templates, presentations, and assets in the creation of UX analysis, solutions, and materials
  • Play an active role in our thriving, inspiring and fun UX Design practice and culture
    Requirements:
  • BA/BS +8 years or Master's degree + years experience in the field of user experience, design, research or related fields; for example, Design, Information Architecture, Human Factors/HCI, Psychology, Cognitive Sciences OR alternative equivalent project/portfolio experience
  • General awareness of technology mediums (e.g., JavaScript, HTML/CSS) including differences between them
