Key Responsibilities:

Command and operate the vessel in accordance with maritime laws and company policies.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all passengers, crew, and cargo.
Navigate and operate the vessel using nautical charts, radar, GPS, and other navigational aids.
Conduct regular safety drills and ensure all safety equipment is maintained and operational.
Supervise the crew, assign duties, and ensure high standards of performance and conduct.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of the vessel to ensure seaworthiness.
Maintain accurate logs and records of all voyages, incidents, and inspections.
Communicate effectively with port authorities, company management, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

Valid Captain's license (Master Mariner or equivalent) issued by a recognized maritime authority.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Captain or similar role.
Thorough knowledge of maritime laws, regulations, and navigation.
Strong leadership and decisionmaking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Proficiency in the use of navigational equipment and technology.
Physical fitness to perform the duties of the role, including long hours at sea and potential manual labor.
