We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented
Operations Manager
for one of the top business consulting firms in
Hyderabad .
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of ongoing projects, ensuring efficiency in work-to-billing cycles, monitoring productivity, and analyzing timesheets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management and OversightOversee the execution of ongoing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring all milestones are met.
Coordinate with project managers and team leads to track progress and address any potential delays or issues.
Implement project management tools and best practices to streamline processes.
Work-to-Billing Cycle ManagementEnsure accurate and timely billing for all projects.
Monitor the entire work-to-billing cycle to identify and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
Collaborate with the finance department to ensure all billable hours and expenses are correctly recorded and invoiced.
Productivity and Efficiency MonitoringDevelop and implement productivity tracking systems to monitor team performance.
Analyze productivity metrics and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency.
Conduct regular reviews of processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
Implement initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Timesheet AnalysisOversee the collection and analysis of timesheets to ensure accurate recording of work hours.
Identify trends and patterns in timesheet data to optimize resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding time tracking.
Provide regular reports on timesheet data to senior management.
Engagement Letters MonitoringEnsure all client engagement letters are properly executed and maintained.
Monitor the terms and conditions of engagement letters to ensure compliance.
Track the status of engagement letters and follow up on renewals and amendments as necessary.
Maintain a comprehensive database of all engagement letters for easy reference and audit purposes.
Team Coordination and SupportAct as a liaison between different departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
Provide support and guidance to project managers and team members as needed.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Organize and lead regular team meetings to review project status and address any concerns.
Reporting and DocumentationPrepare and present regular reports on operational performance, project status, and other key metrics.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all operational processes and procedures.
Ensure all operational activities are compliant with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
Master's degree preferred in Operations Management, or a related field/ Semi qualified CA/Non CAMinimum of 2 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a consulting firm.
Desired Skillsets:
Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
