About the position:
The Data Lead/Engineer is responsible for creating and managing data pipelines to transfer data from various sources to the cloud efficiently. This role also involves setting up delta lake. The responsibilities include development, unit testing, deployment, and providing production support and fixing any defects. Additionally, the Lead provides technical guidance, mentors team members, and works on implementing continuous integration and deployment solutions.

What you'll do:
  • Create and manage Data Pipelines to efficiently transfer data to the cloud
  • Collaborate with customers, gather requirements, and complete pipeline development, maintaining regular communication with customer stakeholders
  • Identify and address issues during the UAT/Production phases, ensuring data validation and correction
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
  • Develop, test, and optimize techniques for software development projects
  • Enhance different frameworks and contribute to overall software development
  • Engage with customer architects and provide recommendations

Expertise you'll bring:
  • 5 to 12 years of experience
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, AWS services, and Snowflake
  • Prior experience in data engineering, Python libraries, and data structures
  • Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, data modeling, and handling large datasets
  • Familiarity with GIT, CI/CD processes
  • Hands-on experience in Data Pipeline creation
  • Customer-centric approach, adaptable to changes, adept at multitasking
  • Proven track record as a team player, capable of excelling in challenging assignments
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently in dynamic environments
  • Act as a technical mentor and provide support to junior team members
  • Desirable skills in Airflow, DBT, and team leadership
