Job DescriptionTitle:
Sr Principal Security Architect – ORAN


As a Security Architect focusing on O-RAN within the RAN Planning team, you will be the technical lead to ensure radio network elements implemented securely.

You will do this by ensuring that security requirements are represented in the initial design work, as well as in the initial build of the solution.

You will be responsible for researching necessary security controls, designing requirements based on those controls, and creating test cases for them.

These requirements are to be applied to new solutions as they begin the process to launch. Understands the security requirements necessary for a successful design, as well as why the requirements are necessary.

You will also work to research new security controls and tools to refresh and update our requirements as well as provide direction on new security trends and capabilities.

Responsibilities include,

  • Working in a fast- paced environment that is focused on rapidly identifying, evaluating
  • and deploying new technologies.
  • Interacting and building relationships with cross-functional teams including
  • Product, Network, Engineering, and Security teams to fully understand the needs of the project, timelines, and operational environments in scope.
  • Collaborating with vendors and the broader security community to stay up to speed on the
  • latest security developments and ensure their future capabilities align with needs.
  • Creating Threat models, mapping controls to threats.
  • Working with Maintenance Engineering to have security requirements tested.
  • Creating a Design Document to include all security requirements and controls for the solution.
  • Reviewing requirements with the project team and answering any questions related to them.
  • Communicating progress, requirements, and any issues to ensure successful handoff of deliverables
  • to operational teams.
  • Building domain knowledge of environment to undeRequirements

Skill Required:

  • 3+ years of Experience with education in B.Tech/B.E or M.Tech/M.E(ECE) or any other relevant degree.
  • Strong programming experience in C/C++ in embedded domain.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with common embedded protocols/interfaces like
  • I2C, SPI, USART, buses, bridge chips, FPGAs, hardware queues/FIFOs, interrupts, DMA,
  • Experience in multi core, multi thread, IPC, system programming, GDB, kernel/user space interfaces in Linux OS Ability to work up and down the embedded stack: boot loader, device drivers, kernel, user space.
  • Experience in using source control, bug tracking and other relevant tools. Well versed with software development process. Good to have
  • ability to read schematics, understand device datasheets
  • use lab tools like - JTAG, oscilloscopes, power sources, multi-meters, etc
  • experience in SDK/tool chain setup, make files, scripting
