PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:


Partner with a specific business function, be the Subject matter expert in Data & Analytics department for a specific business function, Gather and Analyze requirements, Do the data modeling, Wireframe the Dashboard requirements, partner with Data architects, Data Engineers , Data Visualization Engineers to meet the needs of business.


MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Owns a Data and Analytics focused on a business function.
Analyze and understand various source systems and related data structures.
Detects, examine, and decode patterns within intricate datasets.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements in Data & Analytics domain.
Handson experience in ADLS, ADF, Azure Synapse, Azure Analysis services is mandatory.

Good understanding of D365/JDE integrations, with emphasis on F&O modulesCollaborate with Data Engineers/Data Visualization Engineers, provide them with Data mapping documents and wireframe documents.

Be the SME/Authority on Data and Visualization assets for a given business function.
Completes change requests for new reports and enhancements in a timely manner with high quality.
Works collaboratively and effectively communicates with others across departments to perform and complete necessary tasks and projects.

Been a seasoned player with the descriptive analytics part and understanding the roadmap to move to the next level while educating the stakeholders along the journey.

Capable of understanding the current situation, identifying gaps, and providing the roadmap to the future.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements.
Engage with managers from various departments to specify data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their unique business processes.
Builds and maintains relationships cross-functionally to stay current with the needs and operations of the business functional areas supported.
Keeps manager informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
At least 10+ years relevant work experience.
Exhibit exceptional analytical capabilities, to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.
Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.

Proficiency in the following areas:

PowerBI, Azure, Azure Synapse or SQL Server or Oracle, Azure Data Factory, python, D365 F&O.Experience with the Extract, Translate, Load (ETL) process of transitioning a variety of data sources into analytical data sources required.

Experience in relational database design and dimensional modeling is preferred.
Research/Peer-Review background with exposure to predictive modeling methodology preferred.
Experience with system and customer support preferred.
Complete understanding of the agile process and scrum model is must.
Must be willing to work as a team and possess the skills to work independently.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and utilize creativity on assigned projects.
Must possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical design skills.
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are required.
