A senior engineer in identity and access management (IAM) is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IAM systems, frameworks, and protocols. They also ensure that these systems and data are confidential, available, and have integrity.

Here are some other responsibilities of a senior IAM engineer:

Optimizing services: Continuously update IAM services to keep up with changing technologies and security regulations Maintaining compliance: Ensure that IAM technologies comply with privacy and audit requirements Automating processes: Use automation wherever possible Designing features: Create features that provide IAM, such as integrating with new identity providers and protocols Building authorization frameworks: Create authorization frameworks that provide fine-grained access control, such as data centric access control Developing solutions: Design solutions for secure data sharing and access delegation

Senior engineers also provide technical support and guidance to other engineers, and perform complex engineering and administrative work.

Experience with CyberArk and Saviynt is a good to have.
