  • About the Role
  • We are seeking an expert UX Designer to join our growing Product Experience team at ResMed. Our inhouse design system is a collection of standardized design patterns and reusable UI components for web and mobile that allows our distributed teams to create cohesive digital experiences for our Senior and Long-Term Care (SLTC) products.
  • As UX Designer for Design Systems initiative, you will help to develop the system with new design work, amendments to current patterns and contributions from product teams. The daytoday work will range from design audits, reviews, close collaboration with product teams, and actual handson design work. We are looking for someone who is an excellent collaborator, has excellent visual design skills, and can think holistically.
Your responsibilities will include,- Creating high-fidelity UI designs, prototypes, and interactive elements using Figma tool Collaboration with designers, developers, quality assurance, and product managers across teams. Partner with product teams to contribute patterns back to Design System core. Developing and maintaining a robust design system that ensures consistency and efficiency across all digital platforms. Help in development of processes to ensure quality of design components and patterns. Supporting product teams' adoption of Design System through consultation and education. Guidance and participation in the design reviews to maintain a high standard for all Design System components and documentation.
Required Qualifications- 4+ years relevant experience building modern UI as a UX designer Experience using Figma toolExperience working on interaction Design PrinciplesGood understanding of information architecture & interaction design A portfolio demonstrating design principles for web and mobile platforms- Preferred Qualifications- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite, Storybook, and User Testing tools
