- Engineering Support: Collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and Senior Management to improve tooling processes and cost reduction strategies.
- Quality Assurance: Design, develop, and evaluate test equipment, procedures, and specifications to uphold product quality standards.
- Documentation: Create and manage comprehensive documentation for products and procedures.
- Problem-Solving: Lead problem-solving activities related to product requirements, materials usage, process capabilities, and documentation interpretation.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in and lead continuous quality improvement initiatives, providing technical guidance and support to teams.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate design projects with other departments, junior technical staff, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met.
- Research and Development: Engage in R&D activities to introduce new products or enhance existing ones.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- CAD Proficiency: Modeling and 2D drawing (ProE/CreO experience preferred).
- Software Knowledge: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access).
- Engineering Practices: Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis, Manufacturing Resource Planning, and Engineering Network File Structure.
- Technical Skills: Experience with designing validation tests and compiling reports.
- Product Knowledge: Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems, especially in the context of mechanic service and lubrication trucks.
- Experience: 1-4 years in industrial design or engineering.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, practical application of mechanical design practices, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Requirements
Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead engineering support across departments including Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and Senior Management. Tooling and DFM/A Initiatives: Develop, strategize, and implement tooling processes and Design for Manufacturing & Assembly initiatives. Quality Enhancement: Design, develop, assess, and improve test equipment and procedures to maintain and enhance product quality standards. Documentation: Author comprehensive documentation related to products and processes. Problem Solving: Solve complex problems related to product requirements, material use, process capabilities, and documentation. Continuous Improvement: Provide leadership and technical expertise to project teams for quality improvement. Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with other departments, junior staff, and suppliers to meet project objectives and timelines. Innovation: Contribute to research and development efforts to innovate and enhance product offerings. 1-4 years of experience in industrial design or mechanical engineering, with a solid grasp of product materials and production processes. Advanced proficiency in CAD software, particularly ProE/CreO, and familiarity with Finite Element Analysis. Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Manufacturing Resource Planning (Visual). Demonstrated ability in designing validation tests and report compilation. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
