ISDA is a not-for-profit organization registered under section 08 (formerly section 25C) of The Companies Act 1956.

It was established in 2013 in Delhi has also obtained approvals of 80G and 12AA certificate under Income Tax Act.

We are committed for undertaking activities benefiting society at large.

Presently, we are working at the grass-root level in Karnataka, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar with 55 experienced staff.

Till date we have impacted lives of more than 20,000 people through our interventions in area of Education, Health, Women Empowerment, Skill Development and Integrated Village Development Projects etc.

We are empaneled as Assessor Competency Evaluation (ACE) under RPL Scheme of Construction Sector of Directorate General of Employment & Training (DGE&T), Ministry of Labor, GOI and NITI Aayog.

Job description/responsibilities_

Project Planning:

_

  • Support in creating Project Implementation Plan and Reporting Framework for the project as per project agreement.
  • Conduct Field Visits to community, potential employers etc. to plan and delivery of key community engagement and skill development Interventions. (At least 10 days) per month.
  • Support Project Manager (PM) to prepare their monthly plans as per MOU and support them for implementation.
  • Create support plan for team and providing technical and operational support to the project for planning, onthe job capacity building, monitoring and review project.
  • Lead and manage the team to effectively to deliver the planned actions and achieve the desired outcomes of the Project.
  • Manage professional relationships with Key Project stakeholders and Government Officials.
  • Help in placement of our trained trainees of our skill development project
  • Support team to enhance their knowledge and to plan and conduct meetings with key stakeholders at village and cluster level
  • Run regular data and insight driven review meetings to ensure planned actions are completed, issues are resolved and learnings and best practice is shared.
  • Participate in district / state or any other relevant meetings as per the need of the organization
:

  • Maintain comprehensive information on the Project in the project monitoring framework.
  • Document all the minutes of meeting.
  • Ability to mobiliser, influence and impress upon the youth and their parents on the need for
    skill training, placements, and course certification.
  • First point of contact for the community engagement.
  • Identify and document case studies
  • Community champions of change.
  • Provide regular reports and feedback on successes, challenges, suggestions and recommendations and share with Head office team on regular basis.
  • Consistently demonstrating the organizational values to all stakeholders and colleagues.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • PG in Social Work/ Sociology / Rural Development / Development Planning/Masters in Arts.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in handling social development projects, preferably skill development project.
