Role: Business Development Head

Education: PG, MBA/PGDM in Advertising/Mass Communication, International Business, Marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Generating leads, following up, and closing deals.
  • Pitching new products to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Leveraging personal and professional networks to generate leads and foster business relationships.
  • Utilizing networks to streamline operations and drive innovation.
  • Coordinating with clients and the operations team to address any issues or concerns.
  • Managing and training a team of BD Executives to effectively follow up with leads generated by the marketing team.
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive BD strategy to increase organizational sales.
  • Establishing strategic partnerships with industry professionals to generate sales through referrals.

Target Markets: South India (Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai), Mumbai, NCR, and PAN India.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Leveraging existing connections with IPC to generate market leads and information.
  • Improvement in profit margins.
  • Effective resolution of client issues and relationship management.
  • Expansion and penetration into new geographical markets.

Collaboration and Reporting: Will lead the BD team of 4 members and report to the company director.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8-12 years of business development experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Proven success in business development, sales, or marketing within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction industry, project pricing, leads generation, current industry connections, and effective communication.
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and building successful business relationships.
