A leading International Architectural Practice, located in Dubai with an office in India, working on prestigious projects are seeking BIM coordinator candidates who meet the following criteria:

Successful candidates will possess the following competencies and experience:

Basic Function:

The core function of BIM coordinators is to improve the (production) workflow by implementing the latest and relevant technologies and software developments and to maintain the BIM function, library and templates with accurate standards to meet production requirements of the companyWorking under the direction of the BIM Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the BIM function are improved upon and / or maintained at a high and consistent level.


Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Assist with preparation of BEP (BIM Execution Plan).Implement and maintain the BIM Protocol, as per project scope.
Ensure all stakeholders are in alignment with the BIM Protocol.
Manage BIM Coordination (not limited to clash detection) and use of information during the BIM process.
Review records of BIM models and their status.
Establish quality control procedures to check that all the models are accurate.

Ensure that each organization has published version of the model for each significant milestone stage as identified in the BIM Coordination Program.

Co-ordinate hand over of model and data at the agreed milestones in the BIM Coordination program.
To lead the BIM coordination work with all project stakeholders.
To develop the project folders, file structure, templates, central files, etc.
Setting the quality standard and procedures.
Monitor and supervise the agreed document and model sharing/publication system.

BIM Coordinator must initiate, agree, and implement the Project Information Plan (PIP) and Asset Information Plan (AIP).Information structure across roles for example, software platforms including all levels of supply chains, appropriate to meet Employer requirements and Project Team resources.

Assist with development of detailed Revit families and project details.
Assist with development of scripts.
Develop and establish mentoring programming within DSA entities.
Initiate training programsAssist with preparation of precontract BEP.Assist and/or lead with review of RFP for BID/Fee proposal.


Experience:5 + Previous extensive BIM Coordinator experienceStrong technical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals.

Must be a self-starter and possess the drive to pursue continued education on BIM.Possess the ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
