About the Role :

The primary focus of this role is to harness the capabilities of large language models (LLMs) and multimodal technology for various business applications.

The ideal candidate will be able to solve business problems with a deep knowledge of Gen AI tech and the relevant application domain.

This role requires a forward-thinking mindset, rapid iteration skills, and a passion for staying ahead in the ever-evolving Gen AI field.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, optimize, and deploy applications using large language models (LLMs) to meet specific business requirements and use cases across various business units and functions.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in Generative AI research and techniques, and establish best practices for effectively leveraging Gen AI.
  • Develop deep understanding of the relevant application domain and rapidly iterate on experiments.
  • Collaborate with crossorganizational teams to integrate GenAIdriven solutions seamlessly into existing applications.
  • Work closely with leadership and stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and develop strategies for integrating GenAI technologies into Flipkart's business operations.
  • Mentor and guide team members in understanding and applying large language models effectively, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Deliver solutions following modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies, testdriven development (TDD), and scalable architecture design.
  • Implement Gen AI paradigms such as prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, AI, or a relevant discipline.
  • Proficiency in Python and related AI/ML libraries.
  • Experience deploying AIdriven data products or solutions.
  • Ability to write highquality, maintainable code and work collaboratively.
  • Handson experience with Generative AI tech: Open AI / Gemini models or other opensource large language models (LLMs) and large vision / multimodal models.
  • Good understanding of Gen AI paradigms such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture and prompt engineering techniques.
  • Experience with APIbased integrations and cloud deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Consultative skills, including the ability to understand and apply customer requirements effectively, with strong analytical skills for problemsolving.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent.
  • Experience in one or more of the following domains: search, recommender systems, NLP/text summarization, computer vision / visual search, conversational assistants.
  • Experience with fullstack engineering and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed computing for AI applications.
