Job Overview


Being the Head Finance at country level, you will play crucial role in shaping and executing financial strategies to ensure the company's financial health and long-term sustainability.

You will be responsible for overseeing the financial functions implementing the group strategic guidelines, complying with taxation laws, protect the liability, acting as a Finance business partner, comply with ICF, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Finance Business Partnering

Collaborative approach with other departments or business units within an organization to provide strategic and financial insights that support decision-making and drive overall business performance. Support other departments in order to achieve common goals. Align financial goals with business objectives, and contribute to the achievement of the organization's strategic goals.Establishing and ensuring proper execution of Routines

  • Clearly define and document all financial process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and other relevant tasks
  • Create / Review the SOPs for routine financial activities to ensure consistency
  • Identify routine and repetitive financial / account tasks that can be automated to save time and reduce the risk of errors, including reconciliation on all financial reporting
  • Establish clear communication protocols within the finance team and with other departments
  • Focus on continuous improvement within the finance function and seek feedback within & other departments on ways to optimize processes and implement improvements accordingly
  • Define KPIs for finance function to measure efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness. Monitory and analyses performance metrics to identify areas of enhancement
Financial Leadership

  • Ensure adaptation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and mitigate financial and fraud risks
  • Drive the development and execution of the financial strategy aligned with the group policy
Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Conduct financial analysis, performance monitoring, and reporting to support decision-making.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of new initiatives and projects
Treasury and Cash Management

  • Manage cash flow and liquidity
  • Oversee banking relationships and negotiate favorable terms
  • Implement effective treasury management practices
Financial Reporting and Compliance

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with group, regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with external auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure transparency and adherence to financial standards
  • Should pilot & animate of Internal Control Framework in guidance with group internal audit directions
  • Responsible for company secretary activities (with external / internal support)
Tax management

  • Ensure accurate and timely filling of tax declaration
  • Ensure compliance of Poclain companies with Indian tax laws, including transfer pricing and GST
  • Ensure follow up of potential tax audits and litigations
Risk Management

  • Identify financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Stay informed about industry trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact the business
Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team through training, coaching & mentoring
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the finance department
