What You'll Do

Here's a fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineering Leader looking to enhance and expand their technical and functional expertise. As part of our team, you will contribute to planning, defining, designing, implementing, and rolling out advanced IT Security capabilities and various IAM Solutions across diverse platforms. Your role will be pivotal in defining solutions, overseeing their development, and guiding our teams towards successful execution. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with the Product Owner and business partners to grasp the desired outcomes, define requirements, and document them.
  • Design and develop solutions related to IT Security.
  • Create rapid Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and demonstrate their feasibility.
  • Collaborate with business sponsors, business architects, operational teams, and domain experts to research, design, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Analyze complex business challenges and work with Business Architects and Development Leads to outline current and future capabilities and features.
  • Assess the impact of requirements on business processes and technical ecosystems, developing and maintaining solution blueprints.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to implement standard and customized functionalities.
  • Assist in managing risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple teams, providing status updates to managers and business partners.
  • Effectively communicate business requirements to both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Prioritize competing demands through efficient organization and communication strategies.
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues, offer support when needed.
  • Contribute to technical documentation efforts.
  • Adhere to relevant standards, procedures, guidelines, and methodologies in system support, documentation, and maintenance.

On a daily and weekly basis, you will engage with key partners from various cross-functional teams such as the Security and Trust Office, Infrastructure, Legal, Business Operations, and Customer/Partner Experience teams. You will collaborate with the Business and Technical Architecture Groups, Product Owners, Development Team Leads, and other cross-functional teams.

You should possess a genuine zeal for tackling functional hurdles using technology and excel in bringing clarity to ambiguous scenarios. As a standout team player, you must be capable of influencing individuals both within and outside your team, serving as a catalyst for change and transformation. Your ability to lead in crafting technical solutions and articulating complex concepts clearly is essential. Other qualifications include:

  • Experience in team management and development.
  • Demonstrated leadership in roles involving product development, product management, and a keen interest in IT service delivery and software development.
  • Strong decision-making and analytical skills to address complex business challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities, allowing you to influence peers, superiors, and executives, steering decisions amidst uncertainty.
  • Familiarity with third-party APIs and SDKs.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jira, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, uDeploy, or similar software.
  • Passion and knack for guiding and mentoring engineers, analysts, and architects.
  • Expertise in application security, with experience in issue resolution and implementation.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to streamlining processes and digital transformation.
  • Application of specific business knowledge and sound judgment to facilitate effective IT engagement.
  • Preferred background in the Security domain, particularly focusing on IAM.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least a BA/BS/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent field experience.
  • Over 3 years of experience in directly managing a team.
  • More than 5 years of proven experience as a technical lead and team lead in software development or IT, with a solid grasp of the latest industry trends.
  • Proficiency in cloud-native platforms such as AWS, GCP, CAE.
  • Sound understanding of LDAP, Directory Services, and IA.
  • Proficient in Full-stack development, capable of working on Backend (Python/Node) and Frontend (React/Angular/Java).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with effective client management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and tools, encompassing design and operations.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with colleagues on-site, remote, and global teams.
  • Establishing and maintaining an agile partnership between business, operations, and IT.
  • Proficient in facilitating estimation sessions and promoting value-driven decision-making.
