Shall lead a team of Lead Engineers, Engineers and draftspersons to manage the Engineering activities within budget, deliver on time and maintaining a high quality of engineering.


2.0 Technical Expertise:

He / She shall have profound knowledge in fundamental aspects and main characteristics of current battery technologies and relate them to battery parameters (like Round Trip efficiency, Cycle Life, etc.).

He/ She should leverage the parameters to arrive at the most optimum sizes of the batteries. Should have deep understanding of Bi-directional inverter operation, control and integration with battery systems. Familiarity with DC/DC converter operation, some experience in designing or modeling power conversion devices is a plus. Should have hands-on experience working on software like MATLAB, HOMER, Dig SILENT, ETAP, PSCAD, etc.,

3.0 Education & Experience Required:1. Post-Graduation in Power Systems / Power Electronics / Systems Engineering 2. PhD in above areas is a plus 3. Minimum 14+ years of experience in the areas of Renewable Energy Systems like Solar PV, Battery Storage, Wind Energy Systems.

4.0 Skills Required:1. Teamwork & Leadership - Should have the ability to foster teamwork and effectively guide and lead colleagues on projects & initiatives. 2. Communication & Judgement - Ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders and exercise decision making considering long term ramification. 3. Commitment - to work with smart and curious people of diverse backgrounds to address the bigger challenge. 4. Business Tools - proficiency with business tools like Outlook, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Word, MS Teams and others. 5. Specific Software Tools - proficiency with simulation tools like MATLAB, HOMER, PLEXOS, Dig SILENT, ETAP, and PSCAD
