Job Purpose

The Sr. Applications Analyst plays a crucial role in leading IT activities for a portfolio of apps, assessing business needs, and designing technical solutions, with a specific focus on the Taxware application and integrations.

Job Description
  • Act as a functional and technical advisor for External Tax Engines, including Taxware and SOVOS GTD for US use, with the aim to expand globally.
  • Liaise between Tax and IT departments to ensure deployment of best-fit solutions.
  • Collaborate with Tax to understand global indirect engine requirements.
  • Communicate the best design practices within tax technologies.
  • Ensure supportability of tax applications to reduce future tickets.
  • Collaborate with ERP support teams for tax-related solutions.
  • Propose technical improvements in the tax landscape.
  • Lead discussions between ERP teams and tax stakeholders for alignment.
  • Gather and design solutions for new tax requirements.
  • Test and deploy solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to IT teams.
  • Troubleshoot support tickets for tax technology.
  • Stay updated on various tax technologies.
  • Lead enhancement delivery following best practices.
  • Promote continuous improvement in delivering tax applications.
  • Maintain project documentation.
  • Ensure smooth transition of support plans.
  • Provide technical information for tax-specific audits.
You are meant for this job if:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Taxware or other Tax Indirect Engines.
  • Experience in deploying solutions for tax local statutory requirements.
  • Experience in troubleshooting Taxware or SOVOS GTD.
  • Experience as a technical advisor to Tax departments.
  • Understanding of basic tax concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Fluency in English.
