Business & Team

Enterprise Services (ES) is responsible for the world leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service.

CommBank is recognised as leading the industry in IT and operations with its world-class platforms and processes, agile IT infrastructure, and innovation in everything from payments to internet banking and mobile apps.

The Case Management Platform (CMP) team is responsible for driving the architecture, design and governance technology roadmap for the Group.

Group Operations are the transaction champions of Enterprise Services — working to ensure the production, validation and fulfilment of all consumer and commercial financial transactions and trades on behalf of the Group.

Impact & contribution

Lead the Case Management Capability in providing flexibility to meet the needs of Case Management projects, offering services from the bottom (infrastructure/ software) to the top (business casing/ POC/ solutioning) or individual expertise (design/ built/ test/ run).

Relationships

The Case Management Platform owner must maintain and build productive relationships with the following individuals:

Customers of the Case Management Platform.ArchitectsDelivery teamsBusiness Unit (BU)Resource ManagersVendors and third-party suppliers

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and develop the capability of individuals across the chapter, lead and define the vision and roadmap for the product in partnership with business stakeholders and product management to maximise delivery of business value and support benefits realisationDeliver Crew and/or COE outcomes within the squad.​Facilitate the constructive resolution of conflicts which may arise both internally and externally to the Chapter.Provide people leadership and management including on boarding, hiring, skill building, career development, coaching, performance management and team engagements for Chapter members, in line with guidance from the Chapter Area and/or Practice.Implement and support consistent ways of working across the Chapter.​Set clear expectations on the guardrails and standards to be applied as defined by the Chapter Area and/or Practice.Apply expertise to support prioritisation, balance trade-offs, and explore strategies to successfully achieve business outcomes.​Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations.​Act as the voice of the business and translate this for the team.​Drive project inception and exploration to ensure alignment of product strategy.​Formulate hypotheses to validate customer problems and define clear learning objectives that will inform product roadmap and prioritisation decisions.​Identify, articulate and manage risks and compliance across streams of work.​Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.​Lead and develop the product roadmap, and engagement with senior stakeholders/business units to manage the delivery of product roadmapApply expertise to support prioritisation, balance trade-offs, and explore strategies to successfully achieve business outcomes.Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations and act as the voice of the business and translate this for the team.Drive project inception and exploration to ensure alignment of product strategy. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
