Job Description:

Version 1 is looking for an Oracle Senior Apps DBA Technical Consultant with expertise in Oracle ERP to join our dynamic team in Bangalore, forming part of our ERP Practice. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, process-driven, and possess excellent documentation skills.

This role requires the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple customer sites concurrently.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform standard DBA support tasks for multiple instances, servers, customers, and interfaces
  • Support Oracle E-Business Suite DBA managed service
  • Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues related to Interface errors and more
  • Contribute to the technical design of data conversion and extensions into Oracle E-Business Suite applications
  • Update documentation for application extension updates and corrections
  • Assist in the development of test scripts and training materials
  • Manage system and user support post-cutover
  • Handle Certificate Management, Online patching, UNIX/LINUX Administration, and more
  • Support on-demand cloning, patching, security releases, and patches
  • Resolve system issues and create/update Oracle service requests
  • Provide disaster recovery support and perform Shell Scripting

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years experience as a Senior Apps DBA Consultant
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Management
  • Experience in maintaining architectural components of Oracle R12.2.x applications
  • Upgrade experience from 11i to 12.2.x and more
  • Proficiency in TOAD, PL/SQL, SQL, UNIX scripts, and more
  • Experience with Oracle Database Tuning techniques and configuring databases, servers, and Oracle EBS R12.2 environment
  • Understanding of Oracle Ebusiness Suite table structure and APIs
  • Prior exposure to Oracle applications and ITIL process Knowledge
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex system customizations and adapt to new challenges
  • Strong multitasking abilities and excellent communication skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with technical requirements such as BAM, BPM workflows, OBIEE/OBIA/OAC
  • Certification in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
