About The Role:
We are assisting multiple Financial Market clients in their journey of Digital Transformation towards becoming a digitally integrated financial marketplace.

To enhance our Leadership and Technology capabilities, Oneture is seeking an experienced Technical Lead.

As a backend lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable backend systems in the Capital Market domain.
  • Solution Architecting, designing, effort and timeline estimates and building and maintaining the same.
  • Leading the implementation of AWS solutions and best practices, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Coordinating and managing a team of 5 to 10 developers, enforcing the process and reviewing developers' output to ensure predictability and quality of deliverables.
  • Mentoring and working closely with junior developers on day-to-day project work efforts.
  • Overall ownership of the technical project planning, underlying solutions developed, and deployed by the development team.
  • Client communication, status updates, stakeholder expectation management, especially with clients' business and tech stakeholders.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues and providing innovative solutions.
  • Creating strong practices around test-driven development, automating delivery of applications with strong CI/CD practices.

Domain Knowledge:
Domestic and/or International Capital markets, stock broking, mutual fund, stock exchanges, investment banking experience would be a major advantage.

Education Level:
Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputable institute.

Experience:

Minimum 4 to 6 years of hands-on and lead-level proven experience in managing large-scale workloads, expertise in building large complex platforms, low latency, real-time, highly secured platforms with millions of users.


Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Node, Go Lang, Java, Python, or similar for backend development.
  • Proven expertise in AWS services, particularly in architecting and implementing solutions for large-scale projects.
  • AWS certifications are a strong advantage.
  • Extensive work on caching technologies such as Redis, Memcached.
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
  • Experience with writing and maintaining unit tests, functional tests, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of common technologies such as REST web services, OAuth, JSON, XML, SQL.
  • Experience in Unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD).
  • Product mindset and ability to work on large, complex transactional systems.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Hands-on experience in Designing, Coding, and release management.
