Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a Solution Architect, who will be responsible for analysing, crafting, and developing commercially viable technical solutions for the customers. In this role, you will also be accountable for providing profitable business for Ericsson by translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions, and proposals

Successful Candidate will:

• Scope, define and craft solution offerings, driving end-to-end technical solutions

• Analyse customer technology, define business requirements and participate in risk analysis

• Work with core team on list of potential activities and solutions & collaborate with customer to understand and resolve the issues

• Support deployment of solution & managed Services operations from Solution point of view

• Provide feedback to R&D

• Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing

• Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas and share information about solution to enable customer competence build

To be successful in the role candidate must have:
Education: Bachelors in IT/Computer Science engineering or equivalent
Minimum years of experience: 14+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Networking Protocols:
Proficient in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, Segment Routing, VPN, L2VPN, L3VPN, E-VPN, VXLAN QoS, MVPN, and IPsec.

• Cloud Technologies:
Basic knowledge of OpenStack, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Programming:
Intermediate proficiency in Python and Ansible.

• Design:
Proficient in High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).

• Network Management:
Handle and resolve complex network-related issues.
Perform PoC and prepare testing documents during new product introduction.
Lead network transformation projects.
Consult, design, implement, and troubleshoot network solutions.

Technical Expertise:

• Core Architectures:
IP design of 5G core, Packet core & Telecom domain.
Deep understanding of MPLS and other core architectures.

• Firewall, Routing, and Switching:
Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
High-level hands-on experience with routing protocols (IS-IS, OSPF, BGP).

• VPN Services:
Expertise in EVPN, Inter-AS VPN, and Carrier Ethernet.
Knowledge of high availability solutions (NSF, graceful restart, BFD, Anycast, Link aggregation).

• Cisco Network Software:
Understanding of Cisco network software architecture (IOS, IOS XE, IOS XR).

• Data Center Components:
Work closely with other infrastructure and application teams to provide solutions and build networks as per requirements.

Cyber Security:

Knowledge in IPS, IDS, SIEM, ISO27001, log management, and SOAR.
Operate products like SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence platforms, advanced email protection, EDR, and cloud security products.
Broad knowledge of information systems security across various platforms and systems.
Experience with key information security technologies.

Role Responsibilities:


• Customer Interaction:
o Work with customers' IP design teams and review network architecture.
o Achieve on-time delivery of stakeholder-endorsed architectural solutions.
o Allocate IP resources and produce IP designs as per customer principles.
o Assist in creating IP MOPs and implement IP designs.
o Participate in design discussions with project stakeholders.


• Solution Development:
o Develop and improve services, software, and products.
o Consult with technical staff and senior management to understand requirements.
o Develop end-to-end solutions to meet technical and business needs.
o Implement solutions within agreed time, scope, and cost, managing expectations and acquiring acceptance.
o Share knowledge within Ericsson and with customers.


• Project Management:
o Ensure all projects are tightly planned, resourced, and maintain profitability.
o Monitor and report program-related trends and performance against plans and budgets.


• Security Management:
o Develop, execute, and track performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure.
o Design computer security strategies and engineer comprehensive cybersecurity architectures.
o Identify, define, and document system security requirements.
o Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
o Plan, develop, implement, and update company's information security strategy.
o Educate and train staff on information system security best practices.
o Lead responses to cyber incidents and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.

Additional Requirements:

Certifications in CCIE Routing and Switching, CCNA, and industry security certifications such as SANS, CISSP, etc. Strong customer handling skills. Experience with Ericsson products and support is desirable. Preferred experience in Cloud and IP solutions
