We're looking for an MDM and Data Governance Specialist for the Global Data & Analytics team, which is part of the Global Sales Operations, Enterprise Organization, responsible for ensuring the integrity of the right data, to the right people, at the right point in time.


In the Global Data & Analytics team, we follow the data from its conception to its end in the hands of the people who use our data every day to create value for GN and our customers.


Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

The MDM and Data Governance Specialist is responsible for overseeing the development and management of Master Data Management (MDM) practices and ensuring adherence to data governance standards and policies.

This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of key business data across the organization.

As one of our specialists you will collaborate with various departments to implement data quality improvements and governance practices, ensuring data assets are effectively managed and utilized.

Building strong relationships with your primary stakeholders and setting expectations for the journey ahead.

Key Role Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain MDM processes and systems for consistent master data.
Manage master data lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
Gather MDM requirements and collaborate with IT for implementation.
Establish and enforce data governance frameworks and standards.
Implement data quality metrics and methodologies, ensuring compliance.
Execute data cleansing and enrichment processes.
Support stakeholders, provide training on data governance and MDM.Collaborate on data strategy and policy implementation.
Ensure adherence to global MDM standards and requirements.
Facilitate governance with data owners to maintain consistency.
Cultivate a culture of data quality and governance.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Recommend and implement MDM process improvements.
Lead or participate in data governance committees.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in information management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Good knowledge of data structures, data architecture, and data governance.
Good understanding of MDM principles, data governance frameworks, and data quality management.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
