The Role

You will be responsible for :

  • Achieve sales targets by developing and executing account plans that create demand for the company's products and services
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospects, and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Understand customer technical requirements and map them to company products and solutions
  • Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations that showcase company products and solutions in the best light
  • Respond to customer RFPs/RFIs, creating custom proposals as needed.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers, within company guidelines
  • Work with cross-functional teams—including product management, marketing, and engineering—to ensure successful product launches and go-to-market strategies
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs and share insights with internal stakeholders
  • Train and mentor junior members of the sales team, sharing knowledge and expertise to enable their success
  • Generate accurate forecasting reports and pipeline data to support decision making
  • Provide input on product development based on customer feedback and market analysis
  • Attend trade shows and other industry events to represent the company

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • 1+ years of technical sales experience (Backup, Storage and IT Infrastructure) with extensive knowledge in online bidding forums like Upwork and GEMS.
  • Proven track record of achieving quotas and driving revenue growth
  • Experience managing and developing a sales team
  • Strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting to close
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
