Role Description

This is a contractual role for a Copyeditor at HubHawks. As a Copyeditor, you will be responsible for reviewing and editing written content for accuracy, grammar, style, and formatting.

Your day-to-day tasks will include proofreading manuscripts, checking for spelling and grammatical errors, ensuring consistency in language and tone, and working collaboratively with authors and other team members.

Qualifications

  • Strong command of the English language and excellent grammar skills
  • Attention to detail and strong editing and proofreading abilities
  • Knowledge of style guides, such as AP or Chicago Manual of Style
  • Experience in copyediting or related roles
  • Proficiency in using editing tools and software
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
