People Technology is the central hub for all people data.Our technology provides the foundation and orchestration for a multitude of key human resource processes, from on-boarding of tens of thousands of temporary employees during peak holiday season to integrating critical employee data to internal and external systems.

We are looking to hire a Software Development Manager to deliver strategic goals for Time and Pay Innovation product suite.

Key job responsibilitiesAs a part of this role, you will:
- Build and manage a team of industry-leading software engineers
- Foster career growth and a strong team culture
- Recruit, hire, mentor, and coach technical staff
- Work crossfunctionally, interfacing with internal customers to understand requirements, set priorities and communicate direction and progress
- Own all operational metrics and support for your team's software
- Manage the agile development process and methodology to deliver incremental value to customers
- Work with product management to develop longterm architectural and business strategy
- Help develop longterm development and business technology strategies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
