Experience:

  • 3 years**
    Qualification:Naval Architecture or Masters in Naval Architecture or Ocean Engineering/Ocean Structures/ Ocean Technology.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out stability and related calculations.
  • Prepare GA and technical specifications.
  • Good understanding of Naval Architectural calculations covering weight estimate, stability, scantling, resistance powering, propulsion, tonnage, hydrostatics etc.
  • Preparation of class approval and statutory plans.
  • Knowledge of class rules, IMO, and flag state authority regulations (SOLAS, Lloyds, DNV, ABS, IRS etc.).
  • Hull surface fairing.
  • Knowledge of any Naval Architectural software like AUTOSHIP, MAXSURF equivalent is a must.
  • Mechanical and offshore structures background with experience of structural analysis and use of FEA software is desirable. Preparation of technical reports from associated analysis that will form part of the design packages.
  • Willing to relocate on client site, either domestic or International on short notice.
  • Any other associated task or responsibilities assigned from time to time by the organization.
  • Good communication problem solving skills, must have minute attention to detail.
  • Willing to continue to develop your technical knowledge and skills.
