Genetico Research & Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. (Genetico) is the first in Asia and among the very few in the world to have developed specialized clinical genetics software in rare and genetic diseases. Who We're Looking For:

Are you a passionate Software Engineer eager to make a tangible impact in the rare and genetic disease ecosystem? We're seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our small but strong team in Noida. This role offers the opportunity to play a vital part in designing and building innovative software products to disrupt the field and enable digitalization in a historically paper-driven industry. We are in search of a Software Engineer who seeks the fulfillment of addressing unmet needs and wishes to grow with the company.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Contribute to all facets of software development and design.
  • Break down complex problems into smaller, manageable tasks and components.
  • Build efficient programs/systems.
  • Actively participate in Scrum meetings and task planning.
  • Maintain clean, well-commented code.
  • Conduct bug fixes and troubleshooting for a robust and bug-free system.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends for system enhancement.
  • Design technical artifacts and test suites for thorough technical analysis of the system.
  • Support continuous improvement by exploring new alternatives and technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to stimulate innovation and contribute the most efficient solutions.
  • Participate in collaborations and discussions during core working hours agreed upon with the reporting manager.
  • Maintain a productive work environment and workstation in our Noida office, with access to high-quality internet, laptop, and other essential tools.

Education, Experience, & Skills Required:

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MySQL, RESTful APIs, and Git.
  • Strong grasp of Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Expertise in Java Spring web applications.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies and design patterns.
  • Experience with RESTful API integration, token-based authentication, and test-driven development.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps and JIRA.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, employing common design patterns.
  • Possess strong SQL skills for effective database interactions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
