Job Summary:

We are looking for a Network Monitoring Engineer. The candidate will be part of a Core Network team that is responsible for monitoring the NMS system and coordinating with the fiber vendor and field team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network performance and availability using various monitoring tools and systems.
  • Identify and respond to network alerts, outages, and performance issues in real time.
  • Log and track network incidents, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Proactively monitoring the alerts and acknowledge the same.
  • Should be able to communicate and document incidents based on alerts including cause, action, and solution as well as root cause analysis.
  • Proactively respond to all tickets being forwarded by different teams and follow the SOP on the same.

Experience & Qualification:

  • Technical Graduate with 1+ years of experience in a network monitoring role.
  • Should have a good understanding of the network.
  • Good communication skills.
