Primary Responsibilities:

We are in search of a meticulous and well-organized Accounts Executive to join our finance department. The role involves handling invoice processing, transaction verification, and resolution of discrepancies promptly. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a sound grasp of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently process supplier invoices.
  • Validate that invoices are approved and coded correctly as per company policies.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts to ensure accuracy in quantity, pricing, and terms.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Manage GST and TDS reconciliation for payments and filings.
  • Engage with vendors to resolve payment-related queries and issues.
  • Maintain precise and current vendor records in the accounting system.
  • Execute payment processing via wire transfer in adherence to payment terms.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for proper invoice documentation and approval.
  • Provide assistance during audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries as required.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Accounts Executive or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting and business management software like NetSuite and Zoho Books.
  • Thorough understanding of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
  • Extensive background in account reconciliation.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
